Started this week off 3lbs lighter. Last Friday i was excited to see my progress. As this weekend approaches, I’m starting to feel a little pressure, ha! I used to be able to lose like 10lbs over a weekend. But over the past 5 years or so, I would admit that it’s not as easy to lose 10 as it use to be.
I’m not the type that checks my weight often (or ever) but seeing that the last year I experienced lots of fluctuations, I’ve decided to pay attention more. I’ve decided to check and record my stats every weekend to see where I am. And to have a better idea of when the scale starts moving in either direction. I’m not in a hurry but I do want to establish healthier habits again.
Here’s what I’ve been doing right.
Mealplanning. This is crucial because most times I eat pretty balanced during day but lose control in the evenings as we try and figure out what is for dinner.
Consistent exercise. I’ve always kept up a good weekly workout routine. I workout generally 5 times during week. No weekends.
Daily supplements. Daily I have been getting my Chocolate/Vanilla Espira Protein Shake, Power Greens and multivitamins. And Metabolism Boost and Natural Energy on most days.

Moderation. I have had to say no more. And instead of getting seconds, really enjoy the firsts.
What I could do better.
Water- I know I have at least 30-40 oz a day. Some days, I have about 80oz but I’m not consistent.
Sleep. This week has been rough with me averaging 3 hours a night. This has to change. I’ve been working overtime on another project and it’s starting to wear on me.
All in all, I’m pretty satisfied with the consistency I’ve developed with meal planning and exercise. It’s been a while since both were in sync and it feels good!
Progress is progress and I have to run with it!
On to another successful week!
